During the process of car paint spraying, some operational reasons can lead to the appearance of bead holes on the car paint surface. The main reasons for these phenomena are as follows:
1、 The surface of the paint is contaminated by waxes, silicides, grease, or lubricants.
2、 The tightening pump has not added an oil-water separator, and there are water and oil stains in the air pipe.
3、 The disadvantage of solvent bubbles in the old paint on the bottom layer affects the topcoat, resulting in bead holes during spraying.
To avoid the appearance of bead holes, we need to pay attention to the following situations:
1、 Before spraying, wipe the surface of the workpiece with a degreaser to remove any attached dust, grease, or lubricating oil, and keep the surface of the workpiece clean.
2、 Spray 1 part of water-soluble cleaning agent onto 4 parts of tap water cleaning solution onto the workpiece.
3、 If solvent bubbles are found in the old paint, it needs to be filled with a two component intermediate primer before applying it.
When the car paint surface shows the phenomenon of bead holes, we can wait for the paint film to completely dry, use P8000 sandpaper to polish the affected paint film, and then spray it again; If the bead hole is severe, wait for the paint film to completely dry, completely polish the part of the bead hole, then fill it with eye putty, and spray two coats of primer and topcoat after polishing.
